Golgi-ADVISE™ is a team of oncology-trained executives and professionals who have been working in the oncology field for our entire careers. We are dedicated to improving the lives of cancer patients through clinical research, collaboration, education and launch of new treatments. Collectively, we have contributed to the success of many practice-changing therapies in cancer treatment including cancer immunotherapy, cancer vaccines, antibody-drug conjugates, cell and gene therapies and small molecule targeted therapies.
We have established deep industry and academic connections and have worked cross-functionally to achieve goals. During our careers, we have worked with many consultants across the industry and within academia.
Julia Brain, PhD
Dr. Brain (Julia) received her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Experimental Medicine at McGill University School of Medicine and her postdoctoral training was conducted at Harvard Medical School where she received a Harvard NCI-Hematology fellowship.
As a global executive in the pharma/life science industry, Julia has a track record of high performance in a highly competitive industry. Most recently, serving as vice president of worldwide medical at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) she led a global team of physicians, pharmacists and scientists focusing on lymphoma.
Julia has established peer-to-peer relationships with national and international thought leaders and has chaired and led advisory boards which resulted in significant contributions to Research and Development (R&D) program strategies.
During her 13-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, Julia contributed to key oncology breakthrough programs including but not limited to, GLEEVEC®, ADCETRIS®, KEYTRUDA® and OPDIVO®.
